A little about mango wood and sustainability:
Mango wood is categorized as hardwood. It consists of very dense grain that is durable and strong. Mango wood has beautiful texture and colors, mostly golden brown and sometimes there are variations of yellow tint, or featuring streaks of black or pink across its surface. These colors and texture makes mango wood so visually appealing. Mango wood is highly sustainable due to its cultivation as a fruit tree. The trees grow to maturity after around 10-15 years, which is relatively quicker for any hardwood. Once the tree reaches its maturity, it stops growing further and bearing fruit. Hence, mango wood is a best alternative to some of other endangered hardwoods.
